Bharatanatyam is one of India's oldest and most revered classical dance traditions, embodying rhythm, expression, storytelling and spirituality. At Anura Academy, students are trained in the Tanjore style with equal emphasis on technique, artistry, theory, and stage presentation.

What our students learn
Foundation Course
Basics of Bharathanatyam, body alignment, Adavus, postures, hand gestures and introduction to rhythm.
Intermediate Course
Advanced Adavus, introduction to Nritta and Abhinaya techniques, basic choreographies and dance pieces, body conditioning and strengthening.
Advanced Course
Learning the Margam and repertoire, performance preparation, ensemble work and choreography.
Certification & Examination
- Gandarva Mahavidyalaya (Prarambik – Visharad)
- Gangubai Hangal University (Junior – Vidwat Antima)
